You block it out, the people, the ambience, the light. All you have is the dark, and no joy inside. Where did that smile go? Where did that fighter go? Don’t trap that person inside because youcannot defend yourself no more. God put this in your life to crawl to Him. Crawl back to the light, to the Word; don’t blur it. Show those who you love how strong you can be. Show them you’re not alone. Show them how you can fight.
The ambience is not your friend and neither is the darkness. Break the glass of depression and sadness. There is light behind those curtains, rain that grows joy. Don’t fight alone, because you’re not alone in this. A robot is not who you are, so don’t shut down. Ignite your soul with God’s consuming fire and live on. Look to the cross, the man that brough you here. He can fight your battles, because you’re not alone. Not this time, not anymore.
Bring back that smile, that disposition of hope. Being back that fighter, that joy once more. Look past the broken glass and bloody scars, you’re not alone anymore. Remember who is with you, remember who cares. Its your friends, your family and God who is there. Take off the sadness, quit relying on the ambience. Those things cannot save you, from the fight you cannot win. Grab ahold onto Christ, reach up from the ground. Never let go, never fall back down.
