New Things Have Come

quote of friendship

You know those things that just happen and you can’t describe how it came to be? Well, they call that and act of God’s divine will. Something my dad told me yesterday is, that if you pray for something it will get answered for sure. And guess what, a prayer that I’ve been praying for a long time was answered Saturday morning. I am not going to explain what it is, but all I can tell you is I am extremely happy and I’m thank God for his amazing work in my life even when I don’t even know it at times. When things like ‘my prayer being answered’ happen, I tend to get overly excited or I cry in happiness; this was a thing i got overly excited about. God ensures things in the most extraordinary ways, and this that occurred to me, is well extraordinary in the most unexpected way ever. I wish I could tell you guys, but I don’t want to break the news until it’s official, so don’t ask me questions about what it is, because I won’t tell you.

The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.

Psalms 24:4-5

I’m sorry if this post is short, but I didn’t want to go all out on you guys. So if you read this and think that I was too lazy to write one of my long rant post, your quite wrong. But I can share with you my anime story that I have been writing; I think it okay…I dunno anymore.

~*****************~

Rain trickled down the windows, as I and my brother drove to the cemetery. It was the day of our parent’s funeral, and we were hosting it in the middle of Nishio. I couldn’t get a hold of myself that day, after my parents died in a horrible plane crash; I felt my life drifting away. The year was 2134, and Japan was just reaching it full potential in their technology. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of technology ruling out man, but for my brother Katsuo it was the world to him. He talks about this video game called: Samurai Warrior Online. Whatever it is, I am not going to get myself into that sort of thing, sounds dangerous to me.

“Yuko, were here. Want me to escort you in?” Katsuo said.

“No, I’ll be fine. Just go park the car; I’ll wait for you inside.” I said with a sigh.

I got out of the car, and walked into the pagoda that sat in the middle of Nishio. It stopped raining, and I sort of felt good after it cleared up. Rain seems to make me feel like crap, and knowing that it stopped I felt better about hosting the funeral. My parents were amazing, and they took excellent care for Katsuo and I, but now that their gone…I’m lost in this world. Yeah, I have Katsuo, but he doesn’t really notice me that often anymore. It’s just him, technology, and his girlfriend Suzume.

I opened the door to the viewing room, and there, I saw all my friends and other family members sitting in chairs waiting on Katsuo and I. We were the only children my parents had, and that meant everything that my parents left would got to my brother and not me, because I wasn’t the eldest. It’s kind of sucks…

“Yuko, I am so sorry for your loss” my friend Mizuki said.

“Thank you Mizuki, I appreciate your support.” I sighed deeply.

When Katsuo came in, we began the ceremony right away. The two of us said some words about our beloved parents and ended it with a prayer for them and the people in the room. I just couldn’t live with myself, them being gone was the worst feeling in my life. Katsuo, who didn’t look like he showed any emotion, left the viewing room in a hurry; must be something about his stupid video game…typical. That being said, I was left at the pagoda. So, I asked my friend Mizuki to drive me home; it started to rain again.

“Why does your brother disappear like that?” Mizuki asked me.

“His stupid game thing, that’s why he leaves.” I grunted.

“Oh you mean, Samurai Warrior Online? That game is fun! You should try it, Yuko!” Mizuki exclaimed.

“I rather not, I find it lame. Besides I don’t want something stuck to my head for hours on end just to play a game.” I snapped.

Mizuki shrugged, but she was right, maybe playing a game might distract me from all my negative emotions that I have. I might just try playing this Samurai Warrior Online game for just a little bit.

~8~

I sat on my bed staring at the head gear thing for Samurai Warrior Online. From what I can recall from my brother’s rants about the game, is that in order to play you have to place the head thing on your head to initiate the game. When you’re inside, you make your avatar, and pick the abilities from there for your avatar to use. Sounds easy enough to do. It’s just a huge MMORPG game full of other players inside, no big deal…

“Alright…let’s do this.” I said placing the head gear on.

Once on I activated the game, and was instantly transported inside it where all these other players were. My choice of weapons was a sword and a bow in the game, which means I can either wield a sword or shoot a bow with no problem at all. On top of that, I had to make up a name for my avatar, so I made my name as Hikari. Now that I was set and ready for the game, I tried heading to the main lobby where all the other characters were gathered, until I met…Daichi.

He was a very good looking man; I have never seen him around Nishio before. Perhaps he lives in another part of Japan maybe, or maybe it was a girl portraying as a male avatar. Whoever he was, he looked cool and very knowledgeable of SWO.

“Um, hello, my name is Hikari. I’m somewhat new to the game. Could you show me how to play?” I asked kindly.

The man turned around and grinned at me. He offered his hand to shake, and I did.

“The name is Daichi. I’m somewhat of a pro at this game” he beamed.

“That’s great to hear! So you can help me, right?” I asked.

“Certainly, I can show you how to wield your sword.” Daichi smiled at me.

I blushed. Never had a guy do something for me before, it felt really good. Daichi took me to a meadow, where he and I trained my sword skills on wolves; he taught me how to power up my sword and how to do hard strikes.

“And that’s how it’s done.” Daichi smiled.

I just stared at him and admired him. He was handsome. Daichi had long black hair, with a blue slash down his bangs. His face was similar to my brothers but broader in width and length. And height, well let’s just say he was a tad bit taller than me. Just a perfect guy for a girl like myself.

“Hikari, did you hear me? Hikari?!” Daichi yelled.

I blushed and looked away from him in embarrassment, “I am sorry. What did you say?”

“We need to head to the main lobby. All the players have gathered there for some reason. Let’s got!” Daichi said, grabbing my head to lead me.

SWO is such an amazing game! I can’t wait to log out to tell Katsuo about my adventure, and how I met Daichi. Something was wrong, I couldn’t log out of SWO. My log out button wasn’t working properly and none of the other players were logging out either, something is wrong. As Daichi and I reached the main lobby with all the other players were gathered, a strange yet creepy guy appeared above us. The guy explained that he created the game to a point where it would be a virtual reality and an RPG also, that means were stuck in the game till we clear all the levels.

“Also another thing before you decided to get any bright ideas” he said. “If you die in the game, you also die in reality as well. So try not to die in SWO.” The guy laughed and then disappeared in to a cloud of purple smoke. All the players stood there shocked, scared and somewhat confused as to what the heck just happened; I was terrified for my life.

“Things just got really difficult all of a sudden…” Daichi breathed.

“Looks like were stuck here…forever.” I sighed.

~8~

In the real world, Katsuo was just coming home from his girlfriend’s house, when he noticed that Yuko was no where to be found. He would think that she would be home after the funeral, but he might be wrong.

“Yuko, where are you?” Katsuo called out.

But there was no answer from her, so he went looking for her, and found that she was connected to his gaming head gear. He rushed to take it off, but all that happened was him getting electrocuted from the gear. Katsuo knelt down by the bed, grabbing his little sisters hand, and cried his eyes out; he felt like this was all his fault for causing it, but to be correct it was someone even bigger than that.

Taichi Daisuke Yamamoto, the creator of SWO and owner of the major technological advanced video games in Japan, was said that he disappeared out of no where. Amongst his disappearance, over one thousand people in Japan were taken to local hospitals due to the fact that they could not take the game head gear off their heads. The families of the participants were scared that their loved ones would be stuck in the game forever, but they didn’t know what it was like inside it and how they would get out…alive. Katsuo just couldn’t believe that he lost his parents and now his little sister…could it get any worse?

Just be patient with me guys, and I’ll tell you what has happened, okay? Okay. See ya 🙂

Hopless or Just Waiting?

I have gotten to a point in my life that having someone close is something that I want, but I believe that is just the romantic in me talking and not my actual heart saying that. Yes I did admit that I am a romantic type of person, but not like a serious romantic; it’s not something I go out and tell everybody. But being a romantic doesn’t help you, it won’t acquire what you really want and desire. In fact it doesn’t do a thing, but build up fantasy like images in your head about someone you want, and not really there for you. The bible says that keep your heart pure and you mind full of him; we can’t do that if we have our focus on something like wanting a boyfriend, spouse etc. I am an awkward person when it comes to talking to guys that I find attractive or if I fancy them. Trust me, if you grew up homeschooled, and believe in courtship, you’d think you’re an awkward person around guys. Being an awkward sociable girl with guys can be hard though, because your mind is going several miles an hour thinking of what to say without embarrassing yourself in front of the guy. See, what I mean? If our hearts aren’t in the right place when we talk or get know a guy close in age, then there is no chance to have something like that in your life.

Romance is something I have always wanted to experience ever since I turned sixteen, but my hormones weren’t really there for that, nor the age I am now.  But it would be nice to meet a nice guy, get to know him and his family, and then start a family of your own. Do you see what’s missing from that equation? Duh, it’s God! A relationship is like a triangle, if you remember what I discussed about in my last post about relationships. And without the third component in that triangle, then all your triangle will be is a line with a ditch in the middle of it. Romance can be exciting and thrilling, but without God guiding you then it will go down a large toilet.  Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22.

It’s a lovely feeling to fall in love, but it also hurts too. Because sometimes the person you fall in love with doesn’t particularly love you the way you love them, thus leaves you with a piece of your missing. Your always gonna find that one guy or girl who you always loved your entire life, and your always gonna have or at least for me, have piece of your heart missing. But if you listen to what God says about the right person for you, then you wont have to give your heart way to some random bloke you met or some girl you saw on the beach. Our life is full of flaws, and finding someone who wants to fall in love with those flaws is romantic enough for even a girl who isn’t in the mood for romance *coughs that’s me coughs*. He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend. Proverbs 22:11. I know there a lot of books out there that dedicate their main subjects to romance and falling in love with some boy or girl; that’s why people, mostly single and married woman get the idea that they need a better man like the ones in the books or on TV.

It makes me sick that married woman, aka cougar moms like men in books or TV shows that are better than their husbands. Why does society do that? Woman who are married need to be faithful and true to the man they marry! This goes right back to the triangle thing again, without the main component there will be a ditch in the triangle.

All of this, all that I have said has been bothering me. I crave a lot of this. I crave love, I crave someone to be with me; affection. I want to be like all the other girls that have a boyfriend. It’s stupid I know, but being a woman my age it’s kinda pitiful. But I have my God by my side, and with Him guiding me, I think I can over come such cravings for affection. I try ya know…but it’s hard.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 ESV

The Palacio Real de Madrid is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, but is only used for state ceremonies.

A short story I came up with yesterday. I hope you like it:)

“Lovely view isn’t it?” he said with a smile. “Edwin? How did you get past the palace guards?” Isabelle exclaimed. He grinned. Edwin was a specialist at breaking an entering the palace undetected, just to see Isabelle and her sister Aimee. He was a poor farmer boy, who lived outside the palace walls. His parents were killed by the Master of Arms and his brother disappeared into existence; even Isabelle don’t know where he gone to. There are some rumors that Edwin might of went into a vengeance fit when he saw his parent’s murdered, but Isabelle doesn’t believe such a thing. “Oh just a little tweaking of the kitchen doors, and I am inside. Besides that is not why I am here. You and I need to leave this place; it’s no longer safe for us to be together.” Edwin stated. “What? You’re insane! My father is doing his best to keep things straight here in the kingdom. Why would you say that now?” she asked suspiciously.  “Because your father is dead.” Edwin sighed. “WHAT!” Isabelle screeched. “Thus is true, and now that he is dead, your mother will step in.” Edwin warned. Isabelle got up off the ground and dusted herself off. This couldn’t be happening! Of all the people throughout the kingdom, why did it have to her and her only? If her mother stepped up to rule the kingdom, all will be lost, unless she marries someone who has the power to rule. “Edwin, what if my mother married again?” Isabelle asked. “That could happen, but who in this bloody kingdom will marry her?” he questioned.  “Edwin…look at me. Your not going to loose me. Don’t fret, I’ll fix this. Now you better go, before mother or one of the palace guards find you.” Isabelle ordered. “First before I leave you, a kiss to remember me by.” Edwin smiled.

She nodded, and Edwin came a placed a small peck on her cheek, then he was off to escape the palace in due time. Whilst him leaving, Isabelle ran to her chambers to prepare for bed and to say her last goodbyes to her beloved father; mother was still weeping and the Master of Arms’ son was leaning on the wall near by father’s bed. No one really knew his name, but to many of his closest friends or family, he goes by Jaden Hermanson, wielder and a quick bowman. Jaden was close in age with Isabelle and Edwin, but wasn’t really sociable with many people his age or woman for that matter. There have been whispers amongst the servants that Jaden fancies Isabelle, but she despises him of all people. Leaving her father’s chambers, Isabelle returned to her chambers and undressed into her night gown; the bed was neatly made and prepared for sleep. It was late and Isabelle needed the rest after a long, sad day full of death and tears; there are some days that she wished her kingdom was never under attack or that she was far away from this turmoil.

~8~

Beneath the caverns of the palace, there lived a powerful wizard that only the king knew about, the king that died. This wizard has the power to teleport people and objects to different times, and when heard Princess Isabelle’s words, he made them come true. Rhodri, for that was the wizard’s name, was quite old. He had a long grey beard and short silvery hair that hid under a rather pointed hat. The wizard was the king’s personal advisor, till his sudden death; Rhodri was also his dear friend and loyal battle companion during wars. It was a sad day for this wizard, but at least he was able to make the king’s lovely daughter happy before he too dies. Rhodri used his powers and sent Princess Isabelle the future, where she’ll have to restart her life all over again, and fall in love again.

“All will be better. Soon the kingdom will only be a dream for dear Isabella, and all the people she knew, will be lost in thought.” Rhodri bellowed. “She’ll have to learn to live there, love and earn her keep. It’ll be a hard thing to do, but with a spirit like hers, she’ll make it through the days.” he wheezed.

And then a loud boom emerged within the palace walls; the guards trembled in their metal and the queen aroused from her slumber. It sounded like the palace as being under attack, but it was just an old wizard performing his last trick in his last days. No body knew what was happening, all they knew was the loud sound and a flash coming from the under the door of Princess Isabelle’s chambers. Once everything ceased, the queen rushed to see if her daughters were safe. When she entered, the queen only found one daughter inside, while her oldest was missing from her bed. The queen squealed in horror, and awoke her youngest daughter Aimee from her bed, causing her to squeal as well. “Guards, guards! My daughter is missing, send a search party to find her! NOW!” she ordered. “Mother, where is Isabelle? Where is my sister gone to?” Aimee asked. “I don’t know child, I simply don’t know…” the queen breathed.

It was the year 2015; the weather was mild, sometimes a bit dreary and sunny. A small town in Oregon was what you can describe as a place full of faces, familiar and unfamiliar. There, is where Isabelle was transported to; a place to start all over and begin a new and better life, than a life behind palace walls. Birds chirped and noises could be heard from across a large field; Isabelle was lying in that field fast asleep with dirt covering her face and night gown. The population in this small town in Oregon was to be about nine thousand or ten thousand people; each person are either related or they know one another. Isabelle, who was finally waking up, found herself in the field dirty and still in her white night gown. She looked around to see if there was anyone around, but from where she was, there was no one to found for miles. Well, Isabelle  picked herself off the ground, and head straight to where a ‘village’ would be found from the field she was in. Isabelle wasn’t expecting that this place she was in, that there will be machines that drive or machines in the air flying like birds.

“Where am I? This isn’t my kingdom? I must be dreaming…I have to be dreaming.” Isabelle assumed. The princess walked further and further along the paved walk way, when it started to rain out of no where, soaking Isabelle to the bone. There was no shelter to stand under, no trees for miles and miles; looks like she’ll just have to keep walking till a ‘village appears. “How did I even get here? The only way I could get some where that has technology…is by a wizard!” Isabella exclaimed. “But we don’t have a wizard, unless father had one as a dear friend and told nobody. I need to get back home!” she said.
Suddenly the wind started to pick up, and poor Isabelle shivering; her night gown was soaked and her hair was dripping, soon she’ll catch a cold.

In the distance, there was a young man walking with his guitar over his head, he too was trying to escape the weather, but the guitar wasn’t helping at all. Isabelle saw him, and tried to call out to him, but he was too far away. So she darted off to the young man to reach him, thus she then calling out to him again. “Help, I am soaked and I need medical attention. Help me!” Isabelle called out. When the young man heard her cries for help, and rushed to attend to her. He found her passed out on the paved walk way, soaked and cold from the wind and rain. So he took her to his place, hoping that his family could take good care of her, and find dry clothes for her to wear.

~8~

“She was just out in the middle of no where mom. Soaked to the bone and only wear some sort of night gown” he said.
“Kurt, you can’t just bring strangers in the house. Your father would have a fit when he comes home from work” Kurt’s mom warned. “Shh, she is waking up.” Kurt hushed his mom. Isabelle rustled in a nice comfortable reclined chair, and awoke to a fire and two people staring at her. Embarrassed and slightly confused as to where she was, got out of the chair and wondered around Kurt’s house.  “Um Miss, I do apologize, but you might want to change out of those clothes.” Kurt’s mother said. “Don’t boss me around peasant!” Isabelle said, and then fainted again. “Wow mom, you sure know how to knock people down without harming them.” Kurt chuckled. “Very funny, son. Now help me carry her to your sister’s room.” Kurt’s mom ordered.

Kurt and his mom, carried the princess upstairs to Kurt’s older sister’s room, there Kurt’s mother undressed her and put drier clothes on her. Kurt Barnett was a twenty-one year old young man, who loved music and enjoyed the fresh air of his little Oregon town. He lived in a large Victorian house near the mountains and the water, with his sister, dad and his younger brother Aidan. For the Barnett’s, nothing really happens in their town of Astoria, Oregon, until Isabelle came into their home. “She is beautiful” Kurt smiled as he leaned on the wall to the bedroom. “Whatever you’re thinking, its no. She is going back home after she gets back on her feet.” Kurt’s mother said. “I doubt that, but whatever you say mom.” Kurt shrugged. Evening dawned; Isabelle woke up to find herself in different clothes and in a different room. She did feel a lot better, she wasn’t soaked or cold no more, just a bit confused as to where she was that’s all.

“Good you’re awake, I am Kurt Barnett. Welcome to Astoria, Oregon, a town with the greatest view of the mountains and waters. You are in my house, which contains my mother, my father, my older sister Emilee and my younger brother Aidan.” Kurt explained. “You look like Jaden…that black hearted man, full of hatred to my family.” Isabelle snapped.
“I am not sure who this, ‘Jaden’ guy is, but sounds mean. Trust me girl, I am not him, I am no where near his guy.” Kurt grinned. “Don’t do that. I am already with someone, peasant.” Isabelle snapped again. Kurt rolled his eyes. Looks like he’ll have to get use to her calling him ‘peasant’ all the time; this is going to be a very long day, he thought.  “Look girl, I am going to show you around Astoria, and maybe get to know you and where the heck you came from, okay?” Kurt grunted. “Fine, fine peasant! Now where can I get a dress to wear?” Isabelle demanded. “You’re wearing one, beautiful.” Kurt smiled.

Isabelle looked down at the clothes she was wearing, and saw a floral dress on her that touched her knees. She then looked up at Kurt, who was leaning up against a wall fragment of the bedroom. He was a handsome young man; clean shaved, with black short hair and a nice smile. Kurt was taller than Isabelle, and he wore these ripped jeans, and a shirt with some designs on it. Not bad for a man she just met like a couple minutes ago, huh. “Please don’t call me that. I am not yours to be with, what is it? Kurt?” Isabelle ranted. “Whatever, princess rude mouth.” Kurt joked. “Take that back! I am not rude, take that back!” Isabelle called out.

Isabelle followed Kurt through the halls of his home, and found him sitting on a nicely crafted balcony across from his room. The he sat with the very same guitar she saw in his hand; Isabelle wondered if he played or was it just for decoration. Whatever is was for, she knew that being mean to the young man who saved her from the cold and rainy weather last night was rude. She needed to apologize, but Kurt started to play something on his guitar, and then started to sing as well. Isabelle felt her heart soar once she heard his beautiful voice sing. Maybe being here in Oregon wasn’t that bad, maybe she was put here for a reason, but she just doesn’t know it yet. Perhaps staying for a while might be okay, and getting to know Kurt a little better would be okay also. “Your singing is wonderful.” Isabelle came from behind the door she was peering from. “How long have you’ve been standing there?” Kurt asked. “Long enough to apologize, I hadn’t realized you were the young man who saved me.” Isabelle said. “Apology accepted.” Kurt beamed. “Princess Isabelle Hayden.” Isabelle introduced herself “A princess huh, where did you come from?” Kurt asked. “How about I’ll tell over our tour of the town.” Isabelle smiled. “I can do that, princess, I can do that.” Kurt grinned.

Flying Ship by Ben Wootten

I got these off of Pinterest, so none of these are mine.

And there you go, a study of different ships in different eras. Whether it’s Steampunk or Pirates, there all made with several different tech or woods. It may not be a great post, but after a case of Writer’s Block, I’ve kinda haven’t had any ideas to write a long blog post…sorry guys. I hope this is good enough for you 🙂

“You’re a very beautiful woman, who loved an ugly man…”

I’m going to talk about ships today. The one thing that keeps a fangirl like me going in shows and books that I adore; right now it’s Once Upon a Time. Many shows have characters who lean to another character for romantic pleasures, but there are also some that want friendship instead. But mostly it’s a romantic relationship in two different ways; true love or lust. I have many ships or OTPs in my fandoms, and one of them I have come to like very much to a point where I cry like a baby if something bad happens to the ship. Also there are some ships that are really creepy and really shouldn’t have been invented by the weirdo fangirls and fanboys out there; I’m talking about you Johnlockers! Anyways, ships come in my different ways, big, small, and very strange. The one ship that I thought was strange at first was Rumbelle; Rumpelstiltskin and Belle French from Once Upon a Time.

BelleThis ship sails like the Titanic! Belle is perfect for Rumpel, just look how much hope she has for him even though Rumpel is the Dark One and uses his magic for every problem he is in. But no matter what gets in Rumpel’s way, his love for Belle never leaves him and always grows stronger with each passing moment. Rumbelle is just one of those ships that is strong, that actually has a purpose in the fandom world, and makes better sense than Johnlock or other ships out there that sound nasty. What I am saying is, it’s a beautiful thing to love, to enjoy and to cry about, but not to be obsessed about. Each ship can be a bit dangerous in reality, because then you’ll want to be in that ship, and be with that fictional person in the ship, which isn’t healthy at all.

Mr Gold and Belle

We all can love our ships, OTPS and pairings with great passion, but remember that always comes with a price dearies. Rumbelle, Sherolly, and PrussiaXHungray are my OTPs in my fandoms, and I love them very much in different ways. But I always remind myself that there not real, and that they can’t come to life even if I wanted them to, but you never know. It’s like in real life, God has shipped us with someone already, we just don’t know who that is yet or who it will be. It may sound a teeny bit weird for some, but I think there is someone out there for me, he’ll just have to find me someday 🙂

Quote is from OUAT. I am in love with this show and this ship. Belle has always been one of my favorite Disney characters, and so has the movie. So when they made Rumpelstiltskin as the Beast it just made everything about OUAT even better!

“Leviathan? Is that what their calling me now?”

Have you ever wanted to be in a relationship? Be one of those famous couples that you see on TV and say, “Man I wish I could be like that!” Well, if you follow what God says you can. Marriage and relationships are two different things that take different aspects to do. A relationship requires for you and your boyfriend or girlfriend to be alone and not worry about the parents opinions; while as for marriage, that takes you and your spouse and God. I’ve always wanted to be in both. A relationship and marriage. But I never realized that it takes a lot to be in both, and a lot of communication and trust(something I don’t have). Even though it looks hard and sounds hard, God always has a plan, and its good to never give up on what that plan is.

Marriage. Something that both of my parents cherish, and something I look forward too. Not for just being together, but the way they both build each other up in the Lord every morning before my day goes to work and all the time. That is what marriage is spouse to be, not just getting married to have sex and buy each other nice things, its suppose to be between you and your spouse and God. Like a triangle. God is the main purpose in why your marriage exists, and how you and your future spouse come together as a couple, both physically and spiritually. When I see marriages without God, I die inside, because they don’t set good examples on their kids or other family members. Thus is why I look up to what my parents teach and do with us as a family.

Relationships or Dating. The norm of every marriage starter, and the thing I absolutely despise in young adults my age. Dating doesn’t last long, and I don’t want to do it AT ALL! The reason why is this: Parents are not involved and your alone all the time. That doesn’t sound very safe in my eyes nor in my parents. That’s why I tell people I court instead of date. Its the more biblical and safest way possible in getting to know someone and getting close to marriage with God in the triangle. For dating all you do is go on dates, get to know each other, have some infatuation and end it. It’s stupid and lame all at the same time. The most pointless way be with someone of the opposite sex.

But still there’s that thrive to want to be with someone, and have those special moments with that someone all the time. Don’t let that stop you from walking right with God, and following what His plan is and how it goes. Because one day your prayers for a future spouse might one day be answered when you meet that special him or her. Just don’t do the dating thing, because that destroys what God has in the making for you and what comes next in your life. Enjoy life till the fullest and walk worthy with God always.

Words Can Knock Us Down

Okay. So I just recently spoke to one of my friends, and she told me that she went to a friend’s wedding. But there’s a slight catch to this wedding, and it came with insults and words being thrown or misunderstood. You wanna know what I told her? I told her this: You see there are just some people is this world that are going to knock you down. And well, that is true in this day in age. I’m not saying that every person is going to knock you over, no. What I am saying is that there are going to be moments in life where people don’t like you, don’t think your beautiful and so and so forth. You know what I tell them, hmm? I say screw them! God knows what I am, I don’t need someone else to tell me who I am or what I want to be. With God on my side, I can’t worry about people’s words knocking me down and tearing me apart.

Let me give you an example here. If you went shopping with your best friend, and you over hear girls your own age speaking about you in a manner that isn’t nice. What would you do? Would you confront them or walk away and have to deal with the hurt later? Because there are always gonna be people like those girls in your life, always. And your not gonna like them one bit, and your gonna wish terrible things upon them and their family. But why bother? All they did was hurt your character and the person that you are, why bother? Its because God already has it under control, and there is no need to make the situation worse than it already is. Trust me, I did this to my friends long ago.

It’s hard to keep walking after getting knocked down, it’s hard to see who you really are, if there are jerks and shmucks in your face. All you gotta do is pray for them, and that’s all. God can regenerate your heart, not them. God can save you, if your willing to take His hand. And God can protect you, if your sure your safe to trust Him enough. Getting knocked down is hard, but we can get back up again. Just like Alfred said in the Dark Knight movie; “Why do we fall Master Bruce? So we can pick ourselves up again.” If we stand by that and listen to what God says, then we’ll be stronger and wiser to not listen to those words that knock us down. Then we will be the better person and not them. If God can move mountains, then you can be strong and wise.

Impossible Steam

Synopsis: Prime Minister Fabian Law started a war with three countries, America, Germany and France. Since it was the beginning of the industrial revolution, many people were making their own machines and powering them with whale oil and coal from Canada. But things got out of hand, and the Prime Minister decided not to distribute the whale oil and coal for the other countries thus is why he started the war. Many people in London have been in poverty or threatened by Prime Minister Law’s new robot busters to give up their power sources and machines that they built.

In the midst of his power there is a young girl named Eva Clarice Durham, getting ready to visit her brother Adam at the army warehouse. There she meets the Captain and her new friend Will, but something is amiss. A large missile happens to blow up the warehouse after the soldiers returned back from patrol, thus killing most of the captain’s men and comrades. That was seven years ago, and now Eva has taken the obligation to end this war herself! She and her brother, who had been “dead” for seven years team up with Will and new friends along the way to end this Steam War. They need all the help they can to stop Prime Minister Law from ruining what they call: Home.

Looking out

During the middle of the Steam War, Eva decided to visit her brother, but not realizing the risks was the huge mistake on her part. It was early in the morning the day before Eva’s thirteenth birthday; she was outside reading her favorite book by Charles Dickens: Tale of Two Cities. While Eva read her book she could over hear the soldiers marching through the city streets of London, with their guns clinking and the robot busters clanging behind them. The streets were lit with lamps, each of them were fueled by whale oil shipped in from Canada that had bulbs in them. She loved the sound; it was a peaceful sound to her. Before Eva went running off, she told her mother that she was leaving. “Mum, I am going to go watch the troops fall in!” Eva shouted. She waited for her response. “Be safe!” she shouted back. “You know I will!” Eva responded. So, she ran off towards where the soldiers gathered for briefing, it was in this huge warehouse building wearing down by past wars and time. Eva found it interestingly fascinating to her, because it was like art. Art is something that Eva admired no matter what it was. Adam, her brother, enlisted in the army that protected London from the other continents who want our technology and steam-powered engines; Eva always visited him when he and his friends fell into position. So after many years of being in this mess of preparing for this war, Eva lost her father and her older brother, Darren. She tried not to meddle in with such idiocy, since Eva did not want to be involved with a war that can be easily solved. As she approached the large warehouse, two robot busters stood guard watching the perimeter; as steam blew of their pipes Eva sneaked past them and entered the warehouse undetected. The robot busters were man’s greatest invention here in London. Each buster was manned by a soldier, and these busters where also powered by whale oil, which then produced lots of steam from their pipes.

“Alright ladies, I ain’t goin’ to stand here all day. Nah you betta fall in!” a captain shouted. Eva peered over a wall fragment to see all the soldiers lined up in place, out of all of them she could spot her younger brother, Adam. Adam was kind of like her father, dark hair, blue eyes and very shy around woman his age. He joined the Steam army because he felt obligated, since Darren and father did and it ran down the family, but his decision was a horrible one and his mum would agree. The soldiers below Eva were dressed differently. They wore dark brown slacks and black boots that laced up really tight around their ankles, and on their chests they wore regular button ups with black or brown leather jackets. On their leg the soldiers would wear holsters to keep their small pistols or energy guns in for close quarters, and then they strapped larger snipers or strong energy blunder busts on their backs for farther away enemies. As she watched the soldiers fall in, Eve accidentally kicked a small stone from the ledge she was peering from, causing the men below to freak out. She hoped that they don’t kill her. “Sir, what the heck was that?” an infantry man said. “I ain’t sure, may be we need tu find out” the captain said. Eva decided to duck before they could see me, and waited out their search. “Eva, what are you doing here?” Adam whispered to her. Eva looked up at his blue eyes, and smiled. “Just coming to see you do your army stuff, ya know.” she whispered back. He rolled his eyes at her, Adam didn’t like Eve watching him and his buddies fall in, but it’s better than doing nothing at home. “Just…be nice to my captain okay.” Adam groaned. Eva nodded and followed him down a flight of stairs, and into the main area of the warehouse. Upon reaching the ground level of the warehouse, she met Adam’s captain, Captain Lawrence Ivan Brigadier. He was a bulking man at the age of forty-five, he had a mustache that could scare woman away and a scowl that can make any child cry. He wore a tank top that showed off his weight, and on his shoulders were suspenders; the captain needed them. Then on his legs he wore slacks, but more like an off green than the brown. “Who might you be, little lass?” he said with an accent Eva never heard of. “That’s my sister, sir. Eva is her name, age 12 ½.” Adam spoke up for her.

Brigadier looked at Eva with his scowl and mustache, and then he looked over at a boy close in age with her and smiled big. For a man so old and scary, she would never think that he could smile or let alone be happy; he was in a war for Heaven’s sake. “Will, come over here my boy. Come meet this fine lass, Eva.” Brigadier called out. A little boy came running over to the captain, and hid behind his leg like a small alley cat you find at night; Eva introduced herself. “Hallo, the name is Eva. I love adventure and books.” she said with a smile. “Hi, pleasure to meet you Eva. My name is William Charles Brigadier,” he responded. Will and Eva got along pretty well, they played and she read to him for a little bit; at first Eva wasn’t too fond about being around the army soldiers, but it wasn’t that bad. But that wasn’t the least of it. While all the soldiers and the captain were goofing off or relaxing till they had to patrol again, sirens started to go off and the soldiers scrambled from their posts and grabbed every gun they could handle. “What’s that noise?!” Eva asked. Adam was no where to be seen, it was just Will and Eva, or so she thought. Will ran off towards his dad and grabbed his leg again, while Eva just sat there looking for her brother; still he was no where to be seen. Then…a sound like no other sound Eva ever heard before came out of the sky, it was…a missile! The missile was heading straight towards the warehouse, the very same warehouse where she was sitting in and where her brother lived in, Eva couldn’t leave him here!! “ADAM!!” she screamed. But no response came from him, so she ran off to look for him and before Eva could get any farther Captain Brigadier grabbed her by the waist and drugged her out. “Put me down!! Adam!!!” she shouted.

The captain held on to her with a firm grip, as Eva watched the warehouse crumble in front of her into small pieces of dust; Adam was gone forever. “Mum will be heartbroken…” she muttered to herself. Eva just couldn’t believe that she lost her last brother to this pathetic war!! It’s only a matter of time till it’s her turn to become like those crumbling pieces.

The rain beat heavy on his shoulders, the fog started to roll in on London. A young man at the age of twenty-three sat lonely on a roof top fidgeting with his hidden blade, but he wasn’t just sitting there to just enjoy the view. He was doing his job, getting rid of the scum that roamed around London’s streets, terrorizing people and stealing. What he does is strictly professional work assigned by the Queen herself, but that’s not what his dad wanted him to be. When man was twelve, his father, a great captain of a magnificent army, wanted him to join the Steam War. That’s not what his dream was, so he ran away three days after a missile hit a warehouse, holding two thousand infantry men, and his new friend…Eva. “Ya know we both can’t live like this” a low voice came from behind him. “I agree, but remember, I’m not the one with a metallic arm and leg” he responded with sarcasm. The figure knelt down beside him. He could hear clanging and steam bursting from his leg as he went to sit down; it appears these two know each other from the past. “Why don’t you join my crew? I mean you can’t assassinate people for her highness, but at least you’ll have a place” his friend offered. “Adam, what about your sister, aren’t you worried about her?” he asked. Adam looked down from the roof and saw his sister walking home from a nearby cemetery, she looked sad and lonely. “Your right Will, but staying here isn’t going to help her nor telling her I am alive either.” Adam explained. Will thought for a moment, and then came to realize that coming with him on his airship won’t be a bad idea, but then again Eva won’t like it. “Look my friend; I ain’t your father or your mum. You can choose whatever ya like.” Adam stated. Will got up from where he was sitting and smiled, it looked like he’ll be joining the crew of The Whistling Wind after all. “Ah, don’t you worry, Eva will be fine. Come on, let’s get her going!” Adam exclaimed. “I hope your right my friend…I hope your right.” Will muttered.

Upon those seven years, young Eva grew up to be a fine looking woman. No longer did she wear those ugly clothes her mum put her in, and no longer did she have her hair so long. Now hair was cut, and she wore pants and a blouse with a nice corset over it; Eva was a woman for sure. But something deep down inside that woman was a hole, a hole she could not fill unless her brother was found, alive. Roaming the streets, Eva watched as each woman like herself carried themselves with pride and wealth, while as for her, she was a woman dressed as a soldier ready for battle. She wished she could be like that someday. The Steam War finally hit London, and Eva was the only woman in the army that stood up to the Prime Minister’s laziness and cruelty to the little people. Eva walked into her favorite place in Lancaster, and sat down at the small pub to order a nice cuppa. “Top of the morning to ya, Miss Eva, the usual like always?” the bartender asked. “Yes, Richie, thank you.” Eva responded. The bartender poured her a nice cup of earl grey tea, and handed it to her from across the the table; it was about nine in the morning when Eva always came in for a drink. “Miss Eva, have you heard anything new about the war? They say there is an airship captain roaming these parts of London” the bartender said with a pale face. “An airship captain; who is the captain?” Eva asked with a sip of her tea. The bartender showed Eva to a group of sky pirates, telling her to ask if they might know who this mysterious airship captain might be. “Mornin’ men, by any chance you know an airship captain?” Eva asked politely. The leader, who was very tall and muscular man, stepped forward. He had a mustache and a scowl across his face that scared any child or woman away, just like an old friend of hers did long ago.

The pirate leader looked over Eva like he knew her or something, and then began smiling so big a tear fell from his eye. “I can’t believe you’re alive! These seven years have done you well, I see” the pirate exclaimed. Eva pulled out her pistol laced in brass and tubing, and aimed it at the pirate’s torso; she doesn’t trust anyone, especially pirates! “Sir, I believe you have the wrong woman. So, I suggest you back away and bug off!” Eva cocked her pistol. The pirate looked down at the cocked gun, and back away. “Smart man. Now the name please if you will.” Eva threatened. A sigh emitted from the pirate, he didn’t want to give up the name until he knew that Eva was truly ready to know, but she did threaten him. “His name is…” he started off, until a robot buster came smashing into the pub. “Muffins…” Eva breathed. She armed herself with her pistols and crossbow on her back; things were about to get really nasty in this pub. “Richie get to safety! Richie?” Eva shouted. Eva leaped over the bar table and found Richie lying in a pool of his own blood, he had been punctured by a flying wood shard. Eva started to cry, but held in her hurt and changed it into anger. She leaped back over the bar table and brought out her large cross bow, she made herself, and fired it at the robots enormous red eye. That shut it down. Before Eva left her favorite place, she had to do something first. “I am sorry, Richie…” Eva whispered, as she placed a cloth over his dead body. This war needed to end, now!

“You can’t be serious!” Adam exclaimed. News of the robot in Lancaster made its way to The Whistling Wind’s crew members, and of course Adam. “Its true, my own dad told me. He even saw her face to face! Look, if you want to leave I understand, but we’re safer up here.” Will placed his hand on Adam’s metallic shoulder. “Maybe its time…” Adam sat down on his wooden captain’s desk. Before Will could answer him, a member of the crew entered the captain’s cabin. “Sir, we have an unexpected visitor aboard the Whistling Wind” he said with a salute. Adam looked unfazed, but still wondered who would come aboard his ship. So, the three walked out on the main deck and saw a woman with short black hair standing with a sword in hand and heavily armed. “I see you have a visitor, Adam.” Will smirked. “So, this is where you’ve been hiding these seven years, eh? In a bloody airship, with him!” Eva fumed. Adam and Will stared at Eva for a long time, till one of them was brave enough to finally answer. “I can explain…” Adam started. Eva strutted over to her big brother and placed her blade light across his neck, and began threatening him. “If you don’t tell me, then I’ll hand you over to the Prime Minister’s robot busters. Then they can deal with you and not me!” Eva threatened. Will decided it was high time he stepped into this reunion. “Eva, listen, your brother did it for your own safety. Plus look at him! He lost his arm and leg from that missile seven years ago. You really think he’d want to come and tell you he survived, no.” Will explained, as Eva lowered her sword. Adam gasped for air, as his sister walked over to the edge of the Whistling Wind. Tears fell from her eyes, she just couldn’t believe after seven years of being in this war, she found her brother alive. Mum would be so proud of her, bless her soul. “Adam, I am truly sorry. These past years have been hard for me; this bloody war keeps me at bay when I feel like I have nothing in this world. But now that I know you’re alive along with Will over there, I can continue onto what I was doing.” Eva cried.

Will ordered his crew to raise the solar sails and head off towards the Prime Minister’s tower. Where hopefully they can end this catastrophe, and bring back London like it was before the war started. They’ll need all the help they can get to face this war, perhaps some new crew members and some more firepower would help. Eva knew just the person could help, but it might get a little dangerous to where their going.
